Known for hits such as ‘Fake Jeans Admit It’, ‘Cleanest’ and ‘Bad Inn Song’ rising dancehall star Chedda was recently approached by Tenza, one of Britain’s hottest dancehall/soca sensations to enlist his musical services on a remake of her scorching new single titled ‘Waistline Crazy’.
The track produced by Blackspyda and TMD Records on the soon-to-be-released Club Life Riddim continued to make in-rows on the European airwaves.
According to Darkcide Media - Chedda’s Management, “The response to the song by partygoers was one of the deciding factors to do a remix. Chedda is also featured on the Club Life compilation and was chosen as a favourable candidate because of his lyrical prowess and delivery.”
“From what I understand they were very impressed with my flow and figured I could bring something extra to the track” – Chedda added.
Both the original and the remix are now available online for purchase via various digital platforms including: iTunes, Amazon.com, Emusic.com and CD Baby among others.
The U.K based, Jamaican born Tenza earlier this year won the award for Calypso/Soca - Video Of The Year with her entry ‘No Behaviour’ at the Cari Vibez TV Video Web Awards.
Meanwhile, with the release of two new videos for ‘Bad Inna Song’ and ‘Worry Dem’ and several singles courtesy of Cashflow Records, Pay Day Music, Notice Production and Coppershot Music, Chedda is now gearing up for another U.S stint in the weeks ahead.
